yEd is a highly flexible graph editor that can be used to create, view, and lay out diagrams and networks. It displays a large number of the features that are available in the yFiles graph visualization library.

yFiles AJAX
yFiles AJAX uses JavaScript and a yFiles Java server for rendering and editing diagrams. yFiles AJAX will run in a JavaScript-enabled browser without any additional plugins.

yFiles FLEX
yFiles FLEX uses the Adobe Flash Player 9 for rendering diagrams and for user interaction. yFiles FLEX applications are developed using the Adobe Flex 2 framework. The demo applications use a yFiles Java server component for calculating automatic graph layouts.
