The entire source code of yEd Lite, an only slightly stripped-down version of yEd, comes as part of the yFiles library.

yFiles FLEX
yFiles FLEX uses the Adobe Flash Player 9 for rendering diagrams and for user interaction. yFiles FLEX applications are developed using the Adobe Flex 2 framework. The demo applications use a yFiles for Java server component for calculating automatic graph layouts.
