Developer's Guide

Each diagramming library of the yFiles product family comes with a Developer's Guide that contains information about the library's concepts and how the library's functionality is provided by the classes and interfaces.
The Developer's Guide also contains information about the included graph layout algorithms and their options and settings.

Depending on the actual library, the Developer's Guide is part of the product package either as HTML pages or in an integrated format (e.g., Visual Studio integrated help format).

API Documentation

API documentation for the classes and interfaces of each diagramming library is available

The yWorks Knowledge Base is available at It contains short, product-specific technical articles written by our engineers that answer frequently asked questions.
